In an event in Mumbai, the company announced the launch of a new smart phone Le 1s Eco along with a bundle of other services. Priced at Rs. 10,899, the phone will be up for flash sale on Flipkart on May 12. The company also said that there will be 100,000 units for the first flash sale.
The phone comes with a free subscription to the LeEco Content Membership for a period of one year. LeEco Membership pricing in India is Rs. 490 for a month or 4900 for a year. When it comes to the specification details, the phone features a 5.5-inch In-cell FHD display and is powered by a 1.8GHz Helio X10 octa-core processor along with PowerVR G6200 GPU and 3GB physical memory(RAM). This version of the smart phone also incorporates the fingerprint sensor in to it. The Le 1s Eco comes with 32GB of internal storage with no support for SD card.
The phone runs of the latest Android Marshmallow and features a 13MP rear and 5MP front camera. The rear camera is capable of recording 4K videos. The phone supports the usual connectivity options and has a 3000mAh non-removable battery that also supports for fast charging.
The company also introduces the LeEco Drive, an online cloud storage portal to store photos, music and videos. LeEco Drive comes with 5TB of cloud storage for free along with the device. The company also introduced music streaming with a partnership with Hungama Music delivering 3.5 million songs in 22 languages. It partnered with YuppTv to stream live news and sports content.
The company also introduced other services like Le Vidi which would be live by May 24. The company is offering the phone for Rs. 9,999 for the first sale, that is an almost 10% discount on MRP.
